Sam & Jordan
Wedding photos
Sam and Jordan traveled all the way to Iceland to celebrate their love in one of the most extraordinary places on Earth — between glaciers, black sands, and waterfalls. Their intimate elopement began in a cozy cabin where they got ready separately, surrounded by the peaceful Icelandic countryside.
The morning was filled with laughter, handwritten vows, and quiet moments as they prepared for their ceremony. Sam slipped into her lace wedding dress while Jordan adjusted his tie, both filled with anticipation for the adventure ahead.
Their first look took place in the open fields near Vík, where the dramatic Icelandic landscape stretched endlessly in every direction. The wind carried the sound of the nearby waterfalls as they saw each other for the first time — a moment full of emotion, excitement, and love.
The ceremony itself was held near a stunning waterfall, where close friends and family gathered under clear umbrellas, creating a uniquely Icelandic scene — moody skies, mist in the air, and the roar of water in the background. Every tear and smile was captured in the raw, natural beauty of the surroundings.
After the ceremony, we drove toward the Katla Ice Cave, one of the most breathtaking spots in South Iceland. The couple changed into warm Icelandic sweaters and explored the glacier together. Inside the blue ice cave, their love contrasted beautifully with the frozen walls — a truly magical ending to their wedding day.
As an Iceland elopement photographer, I love documenting stories like this — where nature becomes part of the story, and every frame feels both intimate and epic.
If you’re dreaming of your own elopement in Iceland, whether it’s at a waterfall, a glacier, or a hidden black sand beach, I’d love to help you plan and photograph your unforgettable adventure.
